ISSUE #1
Alex's debt dilemma

My name is Alex, and over the past few years, I've found myself buried under an ever-growing mountain of debt. It started with a few credit cards to manage unexpected expenses, but as life threw more curveballs my way, my reliance on borrowed money spiraled out of control.

Here's where I stand: I have $45,000 in credit card debt spread across five cards, with interest rates ranging from 19.99% to 24.99%. On top of that, I have a $27,000 car loan and $60,000 in student loans. My monthly income after taxes is around $3,500, but after rent, utilities, minimum payments on my debts, and basic living expenses, I'm barely scraping by, often finding myself with less than $100 to my name before the next paycheck.

I've tried budgeting, cutting back on non-essential expenses, and even picked up a side gig, but the progress feels negligible when looking at the big picture. The stress is overwhelming, affecting my sleep, work, and relationships. I'm terrified of the thought of declaring bankruptcy but feel like I'm running out of options. What do I do?
